Griswold Home Care Celebrates 30 Years and Rebrands
— Non-Medical home care provider greets San Antonio with a new logo and company name. —
San Antonio, TX – April 10, 2012 – Griswold Home Care refers caregivers who provide non-medical in-home care services to the elderly and disabled. The company recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and announces exciting changes for its refreshed brand.
As part of the new look and feel, Griswold’s updated logo is a creative fusion of a house and a heart, which conveys Griswold’s unchanging mission to compassionate, quality home care. Local owner, George McGuire points out that the logo represents the evolution of Griswold’s heritage — “It evokes traditions and images from the company’s past and refreshes them, underscoring a steadfast commitment to excellence in all our services.”
Griswold is also changing its company name from “Griswold Special Care” to “Griswold Home Care,” which McGuire believes better communicates the core services Griswold offers to clients and families while highlighting its focus on safe and independent living. Along with the new name and logo, the company has refined their service offerings to be more clear and concise with those who are searching for services. Director of Community Relations, Laura McGuire, notes that ‘Amongst many things, clients and their families want quick access to professional caregivers at affordable rates. Our ‘Standards of Excellence’ highlight the unique ways in which we deliver home care services, and quickly address how we can bring comfort and restore balance to families during this emotional and uncertain time.’ Additionally, Ms. McGuire notes that ‘We know families are often unfamiliar with the home care option. Its 30th anniversary, which the Griswold team celebrated in January, commemorated both past and future. The corporate headquarters is hosting a three-day nationwide expo on April 19, titled “The Next 30 Years,” in which franchisees, clients and caregivers from around the country will come together to reaffirm Griswold’s commitment to excellence.
“The expo kicks off a year-long celebration filled with service days in communities around the country, which will gather donations for the Griswold Cares Foundation and celebrate the people who have been part of this company throughout the past 30 years,” says McGuire, who is looking forward to the future of Griswold Home Care with enthusiastic optimism.
